Hi Backers,
Our production team is now at the wrap up stage and the items will be on their way to the warehouse soon. We are as eager and excited as you all are to finally begin the shipping process after that.
Just one thing we'd like everyone to be informed about, especially our backers who are living outside the US. The chargers provided are US chargers. It may or may not work within your respective countries, but typical smartphone chargers may be used as an alternative without any issue. Most people will in fact find this as an advantage since you don't need to worry about too many types of chargers for different things.
Please stay tuned for more updates in the coming days as we resume the shipping process.

Shipping Update as Promised

Hi Backers,
As promised, we're happy to give you some updates about shipping.
Production will be done in about 1 week. After that, we will need some time to sort out logistics. Thus, at this point, we're still looking at at least 2 more weeks before shipping starts.
Of course, any time you have questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We'll send out another update in a few days as dates get firmer and firmer.

Two important updates today!
1. Lock down in 48 hours!
Since there is still about 27% of backers who have not updated their addresses, we will give them extra time. We will lock down shipping addresses in 48 hours. This means you have two days to update your shipping address in your BackerKit survey. If you need to review, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://VEIU.backerkit.com.
If you haven’t completed your survey yet, you can still fill it out to get your rewards, but your shipment may be delayed. If you need to change your shipping address, please make the changes in your BackerKit survey in the next two days. Thanks!
2. Shipment delay - about 2-3 weeks
We’re currently aiming to ship the remainder of rewards (copper and nickel) in August. What happened was that there were reported issues on the screen protectors and packages. We are returning the shipments to our manufacturing site to have them reworked. Our apologies for the delay, we know this may cause disappointments, but we feel this is the best thing to do to reinforce the QA process.
We will try our best to speed up. We will also send you weekly updates on this until everything is settled.

Dear Backers:
We have listened to our backers and wanted to say that we have did it! NICKEL is now an available color for the VEIU!
You can now change the color of your VEIU on your survey to Nickel and the color will be available in July along with the copper color VEIU, Because of the influx of people wanting Nickel, Champagne will be furthered delayed to November 2017. We are giving extended time for the survey’s to be completed to make the change to Nickel. We are happy to announce this news because we are always committed to making our backers happy!
